Photovoltaic Modules

PV modules and solar cells

Photovoltaic modules consist of different solar cells protected against environmental factors by a pane of glass and surrounded by a frame in most cases. Sunlight is converted directly into electricity in the solar cells. The module performance is measured in Watt peak (Wp). A module with 230Wp generates 2300 Watt output under standard test conditions.

Positive output tolerance of +5% / -0%

All Schüco modules have an exclusive positive output tolerance. This means the rated output of new modules is always reached or exceeded. This may lead to a significant increase in the output of the system and subsequently to attractive returns of an additional 5%.
